Are you twittering?!

Pacific Science Center is now on Twitter. Find them at http://twitter.com/pacsci. Not sure what Twitter is all about? Think blog, but with MANY, MANY very small posts. Micro-blogging. Here is a recent article that explains it better. If you are a Twitterer, look us up and add us to your following list. This is still an emerging technology but has the potential to become something incredibly powerful. We’d love to hear your thoughts. Let us know what you think.

Thanks for the post. More and more organizations are seeing the value of using Twitter as a way to message and reach constituents that are otherwise less engaged.

Twitter forces brevity while at the same time providing immediacy and relevance. Bear in mind that success requires commitment from the organization to invest in staff time to provide timely, meaningful "Tweets."

My blog, TwitterThoughts, offers social media opinion and analysis with emphasis on Twitter.

I just stumbled across this great blog posting that talks about the in's and outs of using twitter to promote your blog and online resources, thought it might be of interest.
